Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy

The following is our cancellation policy- please read carefully. You must understand the cancellation policy, and please appreciate that exceptions to our policy cannot be processed after acceptance by clicking the box below. To book any adventure we require the listed nonrefundable deposit.

CANCELLATION/REBOOKING POLICY - Please read through. If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined accordingly:


  • A $699 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot for International adventures and a $499 non-refundable deposit for domestic. Please understand that this CANNOT be refunded due to the upfront costs we have to pay.
  • If the cancellation occurs 176 days or more prior to trip start date, a refund will be issued in the way the funds were originally received less the non-refundable deposit.
  • If a cancellation occurs within 90-175 days of adventure start date, a credit will be issued for 50% of the funds received, less non-refundable deposit and $150 Admin fee.
  • If a cancellation occurs 61-89 days of an adventure, a 25% credit will be given to a future adventure.
  • If a cancellation occurs 60 days or less prior to retreat start date or less, all funds are forfeited. No credits issued. Please let us know what your travel insurance company requires for reimbursement.


We now require every guest to purchase travel insurance as soon as you book any adventure or immersion (domestic or international). Due to the nature of our international retreats, there are significant costs that are all prepaid for months in advance. 


TRANSFER OF FUNDS
We know that sometimes life happens, and plans change. We get it and want you to feel comfortable with your travel plans. Should the unexpected occur, MORE Adventures will offer a one-time transfer of funds (less $150 admin processing fee less the non-refundable deposit) from your original scheduled retreat to another retreat as long as the original retreat is at least 90 days prior to start date. See above tiered credit structure. Additional costs may apply depending upon retreat prices. Should re-booking a retreat for another date occur, all your funds less a $150 admin processing fees and non-refundable deposit transfer. Please understand that there are fees paid at the time when we reserved your original spot, this admin fee is covering those applicable charges. This is a one-time transfer. If you cannot make the rebooked retreat, all monies are forfeited. Refunds will only be given in the form of credit to a future adventure.


INSTALLMENT PAYMENTS

We require only a non-refundable deposit to hold your spot. Please make sure you are serious about going on this trip before you put your deposit down as this immediately goes to cover fees to hold your spot. Your balance will be paid in automatic monthly installments until full payment is due.


HOW DO PAYMENTS SHOW UP ON MY STATEMENT

When you register for any of our trips through WeTravel, we give you the choice to pay in full or monthly payments. If you chose the payments options, monthly payments will show up on the submitted credit card as "WT-" followed by the first 18 characters of the given trip name. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are approving all applicable charges. Should you have questions regarding your monthly payments please contact us directly at Events@MoreAdventures.com


SHARED ROOMS

For some adventures, you have the option to book a private room for a little extra money. If you are fine with sharing a room (not a bed), you'll be able to request a roommate after you place your booking. If you have a roommate at the time of booking please note that during registration otherwise MORE Adventures will place you with a roommate. Should you book a double accommodation and there is not an additional person to be roomed with, your registration could be changed to a single and you would be charged the difference. Booking a shared room will be cheaper and we also have a great community to enjoy this trip with as well!


ACCOMMODATIONS

Sometimes accommodations are out of our control due to a number of reasons with the hotel which we are not aware of until arrival. Please know that MORE Adventures will work with the hotel to try to rectify any issues that may take place with your reservation. Superior customer service is what our small business strives for!


TRIP INSURANCE - REQUIRED

MORE Adventures REQUIRES you to get trip insurance for ALL trips, ESPECIALLY international trips. Please note that many travel insurance companies require you to purchase this within 14 -20 days of trip purchase to guarantee the most benefits. By checking the box below you are confirming you will get Trip insurance for this trip. We are not familiar with every insurance policy and coverage available, it is your responsibility to understand your coverage and inclusions.

ITINERARY
The safety of our guests is our number one priority. As with any adventure, we rely on the experts. Should our guides deem a planned adventure is no longer safe due to any number of reasons the itinerary is subject to change. This is out of our control, but know that we will always be looking and working on a backup adventure should the unexpected happen.

COVID /VACCINATIONS
MORE Adventures will assist in keeping you up to date with the latest travel restrictions, however, we are not doctors. Should you have questions on the proper type of vaccinations needed in an area you are traveling to with us, we strongly encourage you to visit your doctor to discuss what proper vaccinations/medications may be needed for you.


GUIDES AND AMBASSADORS
When you sign up for any MORE Adventures one of our Ambassadors will always accompany the group. This can include Keith and/or Michelle or another certified MORE Ambassador.

DIETARY/ALLERGIES

Please note that we do ask for this information in advance as some of our chefs need this to prepare meals. Please let us know upon registering if you have any food allergies to ensure substitutions can be made. We encourage those with allergies to bring extra snacks with you.


PRICE CHANGES

Most of our adventures are scheduled a year plus in advance to spread out payments for our clients as much as possible. As the world still is recovering from the pandemic, at times it is possible that the tours rates may slightly rise from our guides. Although we do the best we can to cover these, there are circumstances when we cannot cover them all. Please know that it is not easy for us to ask to help cover these costs nor is it easy for a family-owned small business to cover them all. Should there be an increase to your adventure we will contact you via email.

WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, COVENANT NOT TO SUE & IMAGE RELEASE 


In consideration of my (“I”, “my” or “myself”) and/or on behalf of my child/ward’s (each a “Ward”) participation as a attendee, volunteer (or other staff member) and/or spectator (any of the foregoing, a “Participant”) in a My1FitLife Adventure Weekend or other My1FitLife / 1FW Training/MORE Adventure-owned, operated, licensed or sponsored event(s) (any of the foregoing and any ancillary events/activities/operations related thereto, an “Event”), I, on behalf of myself and Ward, acknowledge, accept and agree the following:


(1) The risk of serious injury and/or death from the activities involved participating in any Event, as a Participant, is significant and may include, without limitation, the following: (i) drowning; (ii) near-drowning; (iii) sprains; (iv) strains; (v) fractures; (vi) heat and cold injuries, including burns, heat-related illness and hypothermia; (vii) over-use syndrome; (viii) injuries involving the acts or omissions of other Event participants or vehicles; (ix) animal bites and/or stings; (x) contact with poisonous plants; (xi) accidents involving, but not limited to, paddling, climbing, biking, hiking, getting lost, skiing, snow shoeing, travel by boat, truck, car or other convenience, falling from heights; (xii) heart attack; (xiii) diseases from exposure to fecal contaminated water or slurry; (xiv) permanent paralysis; and/or (xv) death. While particular rules, equipment and/or personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury and/or death does exist.


(2) AFTER OPPORTUNITY TO FULLY INFORM MYSELF ABOUT THE EVENT, ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND MY WARD, I (undersigned) KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY AND FREELY ASSUME AND ACCEPT ALL SUCH RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OR ACT OR OMISSIONS OF THE RELEASEES, as hereinafter defined, or others, and assume full responsibility and all risks for myself and/or my Ward’s participation in the Event.


(3) To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, I, on behalf of myself, and/or my Ward (if applicable), and our respective heirs, assigns, spouses, partners, personal representatives and/or next of kin, forever WAIVE, RELEASE, DISCHARGE and COVENANT NOT TO SUE MY1FITLIFE / 1FWTRAINING LLC/ MORE Adventures, venue owner of the Event, and their respective owners, officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, agents and affiliates and, as applicable, any direct or indirect parent or subsidiary, predecessor, successor, heir, assign, media partners, associated charity, sponsor or medical providers of any of the foregoing (collectively, the “Releasees”) WITH RESPECT TO ANY SUITS, CLAIMS, OR LOSS AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, AND/OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSON OR PROPERTY, IN CONNECTION WITH MY OR MY WARD’S PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OR WILLFUL CONDUCT OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. I further agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Releasees from any loss liability, cost, claim and/or damages arising from Participant’s participation in or association with the Event, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorney’s fees.


(4) I, on behalf of myself, and/or my Ward, attest and verify that: (i) unless indicated below, I am over 18 years of age and am legally signing on behalf of myself or, if applicable, Ward; (ii) Participant is free from all illnesses, injuries and defects that could interfere with any person’s (including his or her) safe participation in an Event; (iii) Participant is physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in all activities associated with the Event; and (iv) on the date of the Event, Participant will possess and be covered by medical/health insurance, individually or as part of an organization. I acknowledge that Participant, and I, as Ward’s parent/ legal guardian (if applicable), am aware and informed of the inherent risks in participating in the Event and that Participant’s participation in an Event is entirely voluntary.


(5) I, on behalf of myself, and/or my Ward, consent to administration of first aid and other medical treatment and related services, including evacuation/transport, in the event of injury or illness in connection with participation in the Event and hereby release and indemnify Releasees from any and all liability or claims arising out of such treatment and/or services.. I further consent and agree to obtain, furnish and allow, if required, the use and disclosure of my personal health information by such providers in connection with rendering services and or treatment, and to sign any additional documents that may be requested by such providers, in connection such information or services.


(6) The Releasees reserve the right, in their sole determination, to postpone, cancel, or modify the Event due to weather conditions or other factors beyond the control of the Releasees that might affect the health and/or safety of Participants. My1FitLife / 1FW Training LLC/ MORE Adventures will not be obligated to refund any Participant any registration fees due to a canceled Event.


(7) I, on behalf of myself, and, if applicable, my Ward, irrevocably grant unlimited permission to Releasees to use, reproduce, sell, disseminate and distribute any and all photographs, images, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other depiction of any kind of Participant or my or Ward’s participation in an Event or related activity for any legitimate purpose in perpetuity and I understand that Participant will not be entitled to any compensation in connection therewith. I further hereby irrevocably and absolutely grant permission to the Releasees to film, videotape and record the performance of the Participant in the Event and subsequently to telecast, sell, distribute and otherwise utilize the same in whatever manner Releasees shall deem appropriate. Such permission shall include granting the unlimited and irrevocable rights to Releasees, without compensation of any kind to Participant, to use, reproduce or broadcast, Participant’s name, nickname, image, likeness, voice, photograph, signature facsimile, and biographical information in connection with the Event. I acknowledge that Releasees shall have unlimited right throughout the world to copyright, use, reuse, publish, republish, broadcast and otherwise distribute depictions of or information about Participant and all or any portion of the Event in which Participant may appear on any and all radio, network, cable and local television programs and in any print materials and in any other format or media (including electronic media) now known or hereafter devised in perpetuity and without compensation to Participant.


(8) In consideration and in return for being allowed to participate in the Event, Participant releases and agrees not to sue the Releasees from all present and future claims regarding Participant’s participation in events organized by the Releasees, including the Event, by Participant and his/her heirs, assigns, spouses, partners, personal representatives and/or next of kin.


(9) If any of the provisions of this Waiver, Release of Liability, Covenant Not to Sue & Image Release (“Waiver”) shall be deemed by a court of competent jurisdiction invalid or unenforceable in any respect, then, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, all other provisions hereof shall remain in full force and effect.


I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER. I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP, ON BEHALF OF MYSELF AND MY WARD, SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING AND SIGN FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY. I AM OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE. (IF NOT OVER 18 YEARS OF AGE, PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST SIGN - CHECK BOX & AGREE):*
